OVERVIEW
This recurring project revolves around Period Correct’s P.C. Pitstop events, also known as Cars & Coffee. Period Correct is a clothing brand that celebrates the historical and current impact of car culture, motorsport, and timeless aesthetics. The last Saturday of each month, a Pitstop / Cars & Coffee event is hosted at their storefront in Playa Vista, California where car enthusiasts gather.
SOLUTION
In order to advertise for P.C. Pitstop, these flyers were produced monthly to their Instagram page of 115,000 followers (as of April 2023). Period Correct consistently carries an emphasis on the history of car culture, therefore vintage ephemera and photography are utilized as the core subject matter for each flyer. The reach of car culture is far reaching, thus a wide range of visual solutions are utilized including photography, oil paintings, and stamp illustrations.
