OVERVIEW
This project involved the production of a point-of-sale print and online advertisement campaign for Herman Miller, Inc. and their sustainability efforts, specifically their ‘rePurpose’ program.
The rePurpose Program enables companies to donate unwanted office furniture and assets free of charge in hopes of redirecting furniture away from landfills.
SOLUTION
The use of red, black, and white falls in line with the current brand guidelines of Herman Miller. The transition from cleanly filled lines to dotted ones in the illustrated furniture represents the decay/disappearance of furniture that occurs when the typical route of throwing them away is taken. This falls in line with the entire purpose of the rePurpose program which is to reduce landfill waste. The use of an isometric perspective also gives a bird’s eye perspective on the issue which intends to give the viewer a societal look at the impact regarding a lack of furniture recycling.
